I’m learning so many different ways to grow. Apparently, people never stop growing. This must be true, because I think………….I just had………….another growth spurt. It’s a familiar pain in my legs, the delightful pain of being twelve years old, sprouting towards the sun, arms outstretched, smile shy. I smile wider, these days. I am long enough to stretch out over the back of the chair, or sit real small……….but still hold my head up straight. Sprigs of hair fall down my back, sometimes fall free, left in my path like leaves.
